Hoping to go to Jonesboro tomorrow when Sean gets off work. We haven't had a chance to see the light display there yet. Don't really want to wait 'til we go to his mom's house on Christmas day, but if he has to work, we'll just wait 'til then. We NEVER have plans at Christmas, other than dinner with Sean's family on Christmas day, so I'm kinda excited that we have things scheduled for the holiday! The 23rd, we've been invited by the manager of our fav Mexican restaurant in town, Old Mexico, to their Christmas party. They are closed on Sundays, but will be gathering there with their employees to celebrate. They are crazy about Coop there and just recently he and the manager's daughter hit it off. Her name is Tedy (I'm thinking it's a nickname for Teodora). We're gonna get her a big teddy bear for Christmas. Then on the 24th, we're going to Ryan's for Christmas Eve dinner. There is a waitress there named Felicia. She asked us to stop by around Christmas because she has a little something for Cooper. She always waits on our table and she and Coop are buddies now. When we get there, she comes over, picks him up and goes and gets our table and his booster seat while we pay. He's just as happy as he can be. They pick on each other the whole time. She sneaks up on him, he tries to swat her as she passes by. They are hilarious. She has this charm bracelet I noticed, so I'm getting her a little devil charm to put on it from Cooper.
Cooper is all about some Santa now. He's still not up on the whole 'Santa leaving gifts' blah blah blah, but he knows who he is. When we're driving around at night looking at lights, he can spot one of those inflatable Santas a mile away! He starts chanting, "Santa! Santa!". It's too cute.
