Our 4th actually started on the 3rd. The city scheduled the fireworks for Tues instead of Wed, I guess for church purposes, not really sure. Luckily a friend of mine called and mentioned it or we would have known nothing about. It was almost time for it to start, so we loaded up (jammies and all) and headed for the park. We found a great spot to watch from and just before the first one went off, Coop went out. He didn't even flinch when the explosions started. It was really pretty. I love fireworks, always have. After that we headed home.
For the actual 4th, we went to Sean's mom's house in Louisiana. Sean's brother came with his wife and 3 little boys, so Cooper was thrilled. Sean grilled burgers and sausages, Mom-in-law made beans and potato salad and a strawberry cheesecake for dessert. It was all really good. Coop's fav part was for sure playing with his cousins...3 boys all 4 y.o. and under. Good times.
